About the Author
Edward S. Greenberg is Professor Emeritus of Political Science and a Research Professor of Behavioral Science at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Ed’s research and teaching interests include American government and politics, domestic and global political economy, and democratic theory and practice, with a special emphasis on workplace issues. His multi-year longitudinal panel study, funded by the NIH, examining the impact of corporate restructuring on employees, has recently been published and is now being revised and updated.

Benjamin I. Page is the Gordon S. Fulcher Professor of Decision Making at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Ben’s interests include public opinion and policy making, the mass media, empirical democratic theory, political economy, policy formation, the presidency, and American foreign policy. He is currently engaged in a large collaborative project to study economically successful Americans and the common good and the rise and political consequences of income and wealth inequality in the United States.

Can I return my rental ebook?

I rented the ebook for my US Federal Government class but turns out my school switched the class to an elective instead of a pre-requisite so it wasn't required for me to take it anymore. Ordered it a day before I dropped the class but when I go to "manage my contents and devices" the "return for refund" option does not show. Someone help :(

About the Author
Ronald Greeley is a Regents' Professor in the School of Earth and Space Exploration, Arizona State University, Director of the NASA-ASU Regional Planetary Image Facility and Principal Investigator of the Planetary Aeolian Laboratory at NASA-Ames Research Center. He has co-authored several well-known books on planetary surfaces, including The Compact NASA Atlas of the Solar System and Planetary Mapping (both available from Cambridge University Press).

An excellent introduction to planetary geology and geomorhphology

This prodigiously illustrated book stands as a tribute to Ron Greeley's work on planetary imaging. It opens with an introduction to the Solar System and spacecraft missions, and moves onto a powerful chapter devoted to imaging: sensors, transmission, processing, analysis, dissemination, analysis and publication.
A useful chapter on the four types of surface process (tectonism, volcanism, impact cratering and gradation) at work on the Earth and planets provides a basis for the discussions of planetary and satellite surfaces in the following seven chapters. All missions up to and including the MESSENGER mission to Mercury are included. The images really are excellent, well selected and reproduced, but unfortunately are monochrome - my only real complaint about this book, hence the four stars. Other features of the book (index, references, bibliography and the way new terms are introduced and defined) make this an easy read but useful as a textbook too.
This is a recommended book for geologists and laypeople interested in planetary geology, and for undergraduates studying the subject.
