Lots of Emotions, Lots of Sex. Another winner from Kenny Wright

I found this author when I lucked upon his wonderful story "All-In: Strip Poker Done Right" (If you haven't read that one yet, you should.) Since then I've gotten just about everything he's written, and I've loved it all. He has a wonderful way of creating multidimensional characters and getting the reader to empathize and care about them. That is a rare trait for a writer in this genre. At the same time he doesn't skimp on the hot and steamy sex.
I really like how Kenny described the contradictory emotions that fuel Ian's Obsession. On one hand he keeps pushing his wife to cross boundaries then worries he might have gone too far. The choices he makes and the consequences of his obsession may surprise you.
If you like your wife-watching erotica with a healthy dose of strong emotions this is the book for you. You'll also want to check out Kenny's back catalog. Lots of great reads.
This book is a sort of companion to Kirsten McCurran's book Because He's Watching. Her book covers the same story, a couple caught in a dangerous and erotic game of mild-cuckoldry. from a female perspective. It's interesting to see the same scenes from two different eyes. Different emotions come to the fore. You can read either book first, but you should get both. I read Kirsten's book first so I knew what was going to happen but somehow Kenny made the material feel new and different.
I tried reading them in tandem. I read for a bit in one book then went to the other and read until I caught up. The two books are almost seamless, with just a few minor changes. It works, but I would recommend picking one to read all the way through before starting the other.

Ian's Obsession Unleashes His Wife Far More Than He Anticipated

I enjoyed this erotic novel and loved that it was written as one of a pair with Kirsten McCurran's book. The story is told from the husband's perspective and shows how he initially manipulates the situation to achieve the end he wants. Once the couple are agreed that Emily, the wife, will sleep with her work colleague and thus commit adultery, Ian is no longer the one controlling the action. Reading this book in concert with Kirsten's, which is written from Emily's perspective, you realise how much Ian doesn't know once the fling begins. He is able to view the climactic bedroom scene via a video link but this fails just before the best sex of the night. Will Emily tell Ian all that happened? From the perspective of this book it doesn't seem she does. The idea of his wife being a hot wife may have been Ian's obsession but as Emily actualises it she becomes more that he expects or realises. This is a couple that will not be satisfied with the one experience and you get the feeling that Emily will probably break loose in the future. A sequels beckons. Highly recommended.

Kenny's got the formula

down pat. He draws you into his stories and doesn't disappoint in this one. It's the male POV of Kirsten's story of the same couple. The conclusion is left open-ended to invite a sequel. He's the only writer in this genre to really capture the male angst. The most powerful sentences in the whole story are the last two. Don't read ahead to see them, read to them, enjoyment guaranteed. I'm glad that Kenny has enjoyed the success of his writings.
